EXO members finally join viral 'First Snow Challenge'
Social media platform TikTok has greatly contributed to the music industry for the past year, and it did just the same for EXO's “First Snow” from their 2013 album Miracles in December.
The trend started when Instagram user @gold_bird_lock created a short choreography that was later uploaded on TikTok, leaving netizens nostalgic.
EXO's Lay was the first to join the trend, exciting fans that despite his departure from SM Entertainment, he remains active with group events.

Sehun did not miss his chance to participate in the challenge and gave it as a gift to EXO-Ls before his military enlistment today, December 21.
Sehun's post was then followed by those of the other members, who seemed to have waited for snow to fall in South Korea before doing the challenge.
After teasing fans during his fan meeting in the Philippines for a local clothing brand, Chanyeol finally joined the challenge and posted it on his official Instagram account.
Baekhyun posted a video of him and fellow members Xiumin and Chen on Instagram dancing to their song with snow falling on the road.
Group leader Suho also made sure to join the challenge and posted it on EXO's official TikTok account.

Before EXO, members of girl groups have danced to the "First Snow Challenge." These include TWICE's Jeongyeon and Jihyo, Red Velvet's Irene and Yeri, aespa's Karina and Giselle, and IVE's Yujin, Ga-eul, Liz, and Leezeo.

EXO's junior boy groups such as THE BOYZ, ATEEZ, and ZEROBASEONE also joined the viral dance challenge, making Christmas merrier for the fans.
With seven out of nine members doing the challenge, fans are still waiting for D.O. to participate while they continue to root for Kai who is serving in the military.
EXO is a nine-member South Korean boy group under SM Entertainment that debuted on April 8, 2012. They released their seventh studio album Exist last July 10, 2023.
