Korean actors Lee Byung-hun and Lee Min-jung welcome 2nd child

Korean actress Lee Min-jung finally gave birth to her second child on Thursday, December 21, her agency MStream Entertainment reported.

The agency said “Lee Min-jung gave birth to a daughter this afternoon. Both the mother and daughter are in good health, and all family members are happy.”

Despite being busy filming for the second season of the popular Korean series Squid Game, Min-jung's husband Lee Byung-hun made sure to be present during his wife's labor.

Last August 4, Lee Min-jung's agency announced the actress' second pregnancy which delighted fans and other celebrities.

Lee Byung-hun is one of South Korea's biggest stars locally and internationally as he was included as the first two actors to get a star on the 2012 Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. He was also the first Korean actor to present an Oscar at the 88th Academy Awards in 2016.

He is popularly known in the Korean history-drama Mr. Sunshine where he won the Grand Prize at the APAN Star Awards.

Meanwhile, Lee Min-jung is also famous in Korea with her shows Boys Over Flowers, Smile You, Big, Please Come Back, Mister, and Once Again. She also won several awards like the Top Excellence Award, Actress in a Serial Drama at the 2020 APAN Star Awards.

The two talented celebrities tied the knot in 2013 and welcomed their son last 2015.
