'Jewel in the Palace' actress Park Eun-hye in PH to shoot action movie

Nasa bansa ngayon ang South Korean actress na si Park Eun-hye para gawin ang action movie na The Guardian.

Sa ginanap na media conference para rito noong Huwebes, January 11, nabanggit ng local press na matagal na siyang kilala ng mga Pilipino dahil sa pagiging bahagi niya sa K-drama na Jewel in the Palace (2003). Siya ang gumanap na best friend ng bida nitong si Jang Geum (Lee Young-ae).

Natuwa naman si Eun-ae nang marinig ito. Sabi niya sa salitang Korean, “It was a very unexpected opportunity when I started in Korea, in Jewel in the Palace. I'm so happy to hear that the drama is still popular here in the Philippines.”

Ang naturang Korean historical drama series ay kasalukuyang ipinapalabas sa GTV, Lunes hanggang Sabado.

Samantala, umaasa naman daw si Eun-hye na magiging maganda ang karanasan niya sa kanyang unabg pagbisita sa Pilipinas.

Sabi niya sa salitan Korean, “This is the first time to visit the Philippines and I've met many kind people, so I'm so happy. I believe that we can we could make a very, very good movie during our shooting here in the Philippines.”

Sa pelikulang The Guardian, gaganap si Park Eun-hye bilang ina Nam Woo-hyun, na dati namang main singer ng South Korean boy group na Infinite.

Ayon kay Eun-hye, bukod sa istorya ay nagutushan din niya ang kanyang role dahil isa na rin siyang ina.

Aniya, “Naturally, when I'm talking to my son or dealing with my son is the same in making this movie. So, preparing for this role is not that hard because I'm already a mother of a Korean son in real life.”

Park Eun-hye (gitna), Nam Woo-hyun (kaliwa), at Wesley Villarica (kanan), owner ng Parallax Studio, isa sa mga producers ng 'The Guardian.'

Bukod kina Eun-hye at Woo-hyun, makakasama rin sa The Guardian ang South Korean actor na si Han Jae-suk, na nakilala naman sa K-drama na All About Eve (2000).

Makakasama rin nila ang local actors na sina Yassi Pressman, Joko Diaz, Jeric Raval, Wilber Ross, Heart Ryan, Eric Ejercito, at Ashtine Olviga.

Ang The Guardian ay sasailalim sa direksyon ng South Korean director na si Jeong Jang-hwan. Ito ay isang collaboration project ng Parallax Studio, Robosheep Studios, GV Labs, Will Studios, Viva Films, at Ovation Productions.
