Was Kylie Padilla traumatized by breakup with Aljur?

Kylie Padilla admitted that there’s no room for a significant other at the moment.

“Hindi po. Huwag muna,” she told members of the press during her pocket press con for her album Seasons.

After her breakup with Kapuso actor Aljur Abrenica, an emotional Kylie opened up about how she thinks that the relationship was put to waste for nothing.

She shared that Aljur helped inspire the making of the album. “Honestly meron akong ginawang (kanta) para sa kanya,” she said. However, the Kapuso actress did not specify which track is dedicated to her ex-boyfriend.

Kylie did not deny that it was quite a challenge for her to recover from the split, but revealed that she has already moved on. “I’m okay na. Lumipas na yung malungkot na panahon,” she disclosed.

She sees it as an achievement and is glad to have reached that point, “Big deal yung nakapag-move on ako. Big deal. Sa totoo lang, akala ko hindi ko kaya. Pero yun, nagawa ko. Tagumpay!” she cheerfully said.

To those who are going through a breakup, Kylie has an advice to share: “Love yourself. Magtira para sa sarili. Focus on what’s important.”

For her, the priority now is her career. She recently made a dream come true as she finished her debut album Seasons under GMA Records. Asked about why the album title is as such, she mentioned how she, like everyone else, goes through different seasons in life.

“Seasons is one of my songs and naisip po namin na yun [ang] ilagay as [the] title kasi lahat po tayo may pinagdadaanang season sa buhay. [Different] emotions. Minsan malungkot tayo, minsan masaya. They are all seasons and they will change. Lahat po tayo nag-iiba,” she explained.

Asked about what season she is in now, she talked about growing up. “Maturing season. [Like] spring. New beginnings, new lessons to learn and have learned, and changing,” she concluded.
