By Hazel Jane Cruz

It is time for ReVeluvs to celebrate as Red Velvet's main vocalist, Wendy, is set to come back almost three years after her debut with Like Water.

SM Entertainment, Red Velvet and Wendy's music label, surprised ReVeluvs when they released a teaser of the vocalist's comeback in an Instagram post at midnight of February 19 (KST).

According to the poster, Wendy is set to come back with her 2nd mini-album entitled Wish You Hell this coming March 12, 2024 at 6 p.m. KST (5 p.m. PST).

The poster also showed a blackboard in a bright white classroom with aligned chairs entangled in blue ribbon. The board also had a drawing of a heart with graphs on the inside.

According to reports, Wish You Hell consists of six songs in total with a title track of the same name.

Wish You Hell marks Wendy's first-ever comeback as a soloist after her debut last April 2021.

Meanwhile, ReVeluvs are highly anticipating Wendy's comeback since it has been almost three years since she debuted with the EP Like Water.

Its lead singles include “Like Water” and “When This Rain Stops” which perfectly capture and showcase Wendy's intricate vocal techniques and smooth performance when it comes to ballad songs.

It also featured other hits from Wendy such as “Why Can't You Love Me?,” “The Road,” and a song featuring her co-member Seulgi, “Best Friend.”

The fans' excitement was fueled by a report last month from Soompi saying that a credible source from SM Entertainment disclosed that Wendy is preparing to make a comeback this year.

Red Velvet is a five-member K-pop girl group under SM Entertainment. Its members include Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri.

They are known for their hit songs like “Psycho,” “Red Flavor,” “Zimzalabim,” and “Feel My Rhythm.”
