After months of waiting, Bianca Umali, one of Sparkle's finest, finally joined Luis Manzano on the February 20 episode of his online talk show Luis Listens.

When asked about her projects and shows, Bianca happily shared her journey on GMA Network's upcoming series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre, including the challenges and setbacks she had to face for the show.

According to Bianca, she was informed about her addition to the fantasy series three years ago. However, she had to keep it confidential.

She shared, “They told me about the show three years ago. Wala pang anything. It was confidential for a very long time.”

While she was extremely grateful for the show, Bianca revealed that she tried not to be too hopeful and excited about it.

The Kapuso actress said, “Ako kasi, personally, hindi ako gaanong nag-e-expect agad [because] a lot can happen. [Hanggang] hindi umeere, hindi nag-te-taping, marami pang puwedeng mangyari.”

She then revealed that after receiving the news, she immediately made her way to prepare on her own, especially her physical health and physique, despite her worry about the whole show in general.

Bianca also shared that her background in doing action scenes and drama was strengthened by her role as Lawiswis in GMA Network's 2017 television fantasy series Mulawin vs. Ravena, as well as her involvement in HBO Asia's Halfworlds in 2020.

“I enjoy doing action, sobra. Dream ko siya dati na na-a-achieve ko na ngayon.”

Meanwhile, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre had their story conference last October 26 where Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Kelvin Miranda, at Angel Guardian were introduced as the new generation of Sang'gres.

This was while Bianca was doing the noontime variety show It's Your Lucky Day with Luis Manzano, Melai Cantiveros, Robi Domingo, and other Kapamilya artists.
