Versatile TV and movie actress Shamaine Buencamino emerged victorious in the recently concluded Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival.

The Jose & Maria's Bonggang Villa actress won the Best Actress Award for her performance in the full-length film “Pushcart Tales.”

Also, film director Sigrid Bernardo received the Best Director recognition while co-star Carlos Siguion-Reyna received Best Actor award, an award he shared with Jeff Moses for the movie "Under a Piaya Moon."

Shamaine portrays the role of Mama Au, the mother of Maria in Jose & Maria's Bonggang Villa 2.0 played by Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Jeff Moses by GMANetwork.com, he talked about his breakthrough win for his role in "Under A Piaya Moon."

“Ito po yung sign na mas lalo ko pa pong pagsisipagan sa trabaho. Since I love my job, I see myself in the industry na tatagal talaga 'ko kasi kahit maraming workload, kino-consider ko po siya as blessing. Lahat po ng work na dumarating sa'kin. Although napapagod ako physically, pero sobrang… fulfilled po ako lagi at the end of the day,”
