Sparkle actor Jeff Moses continues to make his mark in the industry as he recently clinched the Best Actor award for his first starring role in a movie.

The Abot-Kamay na Pangarap star took home the accolade for his role in Kurt Soberano's Under a Piaya Moon at the Puregold Cinepanalo Film Festival awards night last weekend.

In an Instagram post, Jeff expressed his gratitude for getting his first award in his first film.

"First and foremost, I want to thank God for all the blessings and [for] making this dream become a reality, I also want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has made this film a success," he mused.

Jeff then thanked his co-stars, his director, and all the people behind the production for their talent, guidance, and hard work.

Jeff said Under a Piaya Moon, which also won Best Picture, is a "labor of love for all of us."

Jeff won the Best Actor award alongside veteran actor Carlos Siguion-Reyna.

Jeff told GMANetwork.com in a previous interview that he will continue to work hard on his craft.

“Ito po yung sign na mas lalo ko pa pong pagsisipagan sa trabaho. Since I love my job, I see myself in the industry na tatagal talaga ko kasi kahit maraming workload, kinoconsider ko po siya as blessing. Lahat po ng work na dumarating sakin. Although napapagod ako physically, pero sobrang… fulfilled po ako lagi at the end of the day,” Jeff said.
