After news emerged about the copyright dispute between viral "Selos" artist Shaira Moro and Australian star Lenka, fans reacted negatively, with some even causing trouble on the internet.

Shaira addressed the issue on Facebook and urged netizens to stop hating the Australian singer, as most critics targeted the complainant.

Shaira mentioned that she understands the sentiments everyone is expressing about taking down her song. She appreciates the support and comfort she receives from all.

Shaira explained that the approach of the other party was professional and fair. She understands that their action may be perceived as unjust by the original singer.

At the end of her message, she pleads again to stop the hate comments and wishes peace for everyone.

Last Tuesday, Shaira's official record label, AHS Channel, issued a statement addressing concerns regarding copyright infringement. The agency extended heartfelt apologies to all listeners, acknowledging that the viral song had been taken down due to the issues at hand.

They assured fans that they are currently working to resolve the legal aspects surrounding the song's publication.

In response to fans' concerns, some of whom described the incident as "the end of an era," AHS Channel reassured everyone that Shaira will return with original music soon.
