Tom Rodriguez returns to the runway along with other Kapuso stars

It was a star-studded event as numerous Kapuso actors graced the fashion runway at the charity gala "Aspirations and Inspirations," held on March 21.

Organized by fashion designer Ryan Chris, the special event aimed to raise funds for Bahay Aruga, a free halfway house for Pediatric Cancer patients in need of medical assistance.

Among the 129 models featured was the returning runway artist, Tom Rodriguez, who exuded simplicity yet dashing in his all-white ensemble. After a hiatus of 5 years from the fashion scene, Tom felt excited and nervous during the thrilling event.

In an interview with Lhar Santiago for 24 Oras, Tom expressed, "It's been a very long time since I've done anything like this sobrang nakakanerbyos pero at the same time nakaka-excite rin."

Joining Tom were Unang Hirit host Kaloy Tingcungco and Kapuso actor Anjay Anson.

During their interview, Anjay admitted to feeling nervous on stage but found confidence in the company of his co-stars.

Kaloy Tingcungco shared, "To be able to walk for a greater cause is such a pleasure and also masaya that I am with my co-Sparkle artists."

Joining Tom on the runway were Makiling stars Royce Cabrera, Teejay Marquez, and Brent Valdez. Widow's War star Matthew Uy and Josh Ford from My Guardian Alien were also present.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Matthew Uy enjoyed the runway and felt privileged to contribute his talents to a charitable cause.

Josh Ford, on the other hand, admitted he felt a mix of excitement and nervousness as he walked the runway despite being an experienced runway model.

He expressed, "I used to model talaga nung Philippine fashion week bata lang po ako. Ngayon rumampa ako parang 'Wow!' Syempre kabado pa rin ako."

Kapuso actor Brent Valdez also shared his experience on the runway, "Ma-a-amplify 'yung feelings mo eh, while you're on the runway. So it's a good experience for us."

Other Kapuso stars such as Kimson Tan, Larkin Castor, Sandro Muhlach, and Seb Parajillo made notable appearances looking charming wearing the designer's pieces.
