SB19 Josh Cullen and Al James in Yoko Na

SB19's Josh and Al James collaboration track "Yoko Na" expresses unspoken words amid a falling relationship.

SB19 member Josh Cullen joined forces with breakthrough rapper Al James in the new song "Yoko Na" under Sony Music Entertainment.

On March 22, Josh released their collaborative track, which expresses the unspoken words amid a falling relationship. It reflects how a once-full-of-life love could suddenly fall apart, despite everyone's efforts to keep it out until the very end.

"Yoko Na" marks Josh's fourth single following "Get Right," which was released on December 15, 2023.

According to Josh, "Yoko Na" is the result of his "soul-baring session" with co-producer, Brian Lotho.

"For this particular jam, we traded cliched love stories with messy, real-life situations that ordinary people encounter on a daily basis: the frustrations and struggles from past relationships, and somehow confronted it with a more mature take. It's a song that's raw, honest, and straight from the heart,” he explained.

Josh also praised Al James as a collaborator, saying, "He's very chill. He submitted the reworked track ahead of time and recorded his parts in less than an hour. I really admire his level of professionalism. After that, we just bonded instantly and went on a food trip.”

"Yoko Na" is out now on all digital music platforms worldwide.
