Raymond King Lola Amour

Raymond King is leaving Lola Amour after eight years of being with the band.

OPM band Lola Amour announced that bassist Raymond King decided to leave the group after eight years.

In their post, they talked about their journey as a band and Raymond's decision to leave.

"I think our entire team has been trying to not think about this these past months, but the time has come to share this with you all. Goodbyes are never easy, but we'll always support you and what makes you happy."

"Thank you for the last 8 years, buddy! You are a huuuuge reason why we are here where we are today. You know we're not a cheesy bunch, but saying that “we'll miss you” is an understatement. Alam mo na yan."

According to the band, Ray's last show with Lola Amour will be on April 13. Manu Dumayas will take over Ray's role as bassist.

"Ray's last show will be at our Album Concert on April 13 at Circuit Makati. As of now, our multi-talented bass/trumpet/guitar sessions Manu Dumayas will take over the bass duties for the band"

At the end of their post, they wrote that they were thankful to everyone who knew but kept it a secret.

"To those who were there when we first announce this last March 15, thank you for keeping this a secret."

Lola Amour posted Raymond's message in their photo post.

"Hey! This is Ray. There's no easy way to say this so here goes. I've made the decision to leave Lola Amour," he said.

Raymond continued, "The bands was just a hobby when we were starting out. So we've always had other long-term plans for ourselves. While I'm proud of everything we've achieved, my plans stayed the same. Sadly, the band isn't part of it."

Raymond said that he is grateful for everything that he has achieved with the band.

"We've reached more than I could have ever dreamed of and I couldn't think of anyone else I would have done it with."
