Michael V.'s eargasmic parody 'Waiting Here Sa Pila' rakes in millions of views

Multi-awarded comedian Michael V. gave his own unique and funny twist to another trending OPM hit song on Bubble Gang last night, September 10.
Titled “Waiting Here Sa Pila,” the parody song talked about spending too much on coffee with these lines from the comedy genius Bitoy's.
“Tigilan mo na ang gastos mo sa kape!"
“Panay pa -sosyal pero purita pa rin"
“Nakatambak ang bayarin”
On TikTok, the parody song has gained more than 1.6 million views over night.

Meanwhile, on Facebook, it already has about 50,000 reactions from viewers.
"Waiting Here sa Pila" was inspired by Lola Amour's "Raining in Manila," which has been streamed over 47 million times on Spotify as of writing. While its lyric video on YouTube has amassed more than 31 million views on YouTube and still counting.
Lola Amour is composed of Pio Dumayas (guitar and lead vocals), Martin Kim (Keyboards and background vocals), and Raymond King (bass and background vocals). Also part of the popular band are Zoe Gonzales (lead guitar), Angelo Mesina (trumpet), and Joxx Perez (Sax).
Based on reports, their drummer Renzo Santos left the country to live abroad a year ago.
“Waiting Here Sa Pila” definitely caught the attention of netizens, which tackles the obsession of people to buying expensive coffee.
Back in June, Michael V. also hit a gold mine with another parody “Oh Wow”.
Fans of Direk Bitoy and netizens couldn't help but laugh after hearing the lyrics of the parody song.
