Bianca Breaks the Stereotype

We usually see her as a beautiful villain with a heart-melting smile. But Bianca reveals that she loves playing Miss Goody Two Shoes roles every once in a while. Text by Alula Dela Cruz. Photos by Mitch S. Mauricio. Bianca’s characters are typically mean villains or as the other girl in a love triangle. For the first time Bianca plays the beautiful good girl whom everyone loves. As Katrina, Eliazar’s immortal love, Bianca's character is compassionate as well as lovely. “Yung character ko dito super bait." Despite the fact that her kontrabida roles are similar to her strong personality in real life, Bianca admits that she loves playing Katrina because it goes against the stereotyped characters that she plays, “For a change naman its nice, it feels good not to finally not play a kontrabida”. She also adds that the industry has already labeled her as an antagonist. “I am already stereotyped (so) the fact that I’m doing a role na mabait, tahimik its nice.” The tough exteriors of her kontrabida roles and the loving interior of her first good girl character are all portions of Bianca's real life personality. The part of Katrina that Bianca can relate to came out as we asked about what she will miss most when Super Twins ends. “I’ll miss the kids Ella and Nicole. I love kids and animals”. Indeed, Bianca has a soft spot for everyone. In her personal life, she has a dog that she spoils and a niece who practically grew up with her. She is also caring about her family and close friends. So what can we expect from her character Katrina in the coming days of Super Twins? “Di pa namin alam yung story.
