Kuya Germs to JaBea: Tama na ang galit, bati

Love team and real-life sweethearts Jake Vargas and Bea Binene bagged the Celebrity Couple of the Year award in the recently concluded Yahoo Celebrity Awards.
The two youngsters did not expect to win, especially considering how they were vying for the award against Kapuso royalties Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, among others.
“I did not [expect to win] bilang ang mga co-nominees po namin ay talagang batikan na sa industry,” Bea shared on Walang Tulugan last Saturday.
The fan-driven celebrity event is held annually and celebrates showbiz newsmakers in various categories.
Bea shared how overwhelmed she and Jake are to receive such title. In her simple ways, she tries to make their fans feel that they are grateful for their support.
“Through Twitter, through Instagram, nagpapasalamat ako sa kanila kasi 'yan 'yung easiest way ng pagpapasalamat mo eh. Kasi isang type mo lang, marami nang ma-ri-reach eh… Minsan may mga get-together,” she said.
The young actress expressed how she cannot thank their fans enough for the warmth they’ve showered the couple with since the beginning of their love team.
“Kung wala po kayo, wala po kami dito kung nasaan kami ngayon... Napaka-lucky namin sa walang sawang suporta niyo. Kahit na ano mangyari through thick and thin, kahit na ano mangyari sa ‘ming dalawa, meron o wala, nandiyan pa rin kayo, matibay pa rin kayo,” she declared.
Kuya Germs, who serves as a showbiz parent and mentor to the couple advised them to quarrel less and be grateful all the more.
“Kayong dalawa, tinuturing ko kayong anak-anakan sa showbiz so be strong. Tama na ang galit, bati. Ang isipin niyo ang trabaho, ang future… Walang kabayaran ang pagmamahal ng mga fans sa inyo. Iparamdam niyo rin ang importansiya nila dahil kung hindi dahil sa kanila, wala kayong JaBea,” he said.
