Miss Universe Philippines

The online voting allows fans to help their favorite contestants secure a spot in the finals.

Pageant fans and aficionados can now do their part to bring their favorites the Miss Universe Philippines crown as the organization has just opened voting for the pageant's weekly challenges.

The Miss Universe Philippines organization announced the opening of voting on their official Instagram account, posting a graphic informing pageant fans that they can vote for their favorites so they can win weekly challenges and “secure a spot in the Finals.” The Miss Universe Philippines coronation night is going to be held on May 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The opening of voting is just the latest development for the pageant as the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night gets closer and closer. Just last week, the Miss Universe Philippines organization announced that RuPaul's Drag Race UK versus The World finalist Marina Summers was announced as one of the performers during the coronation night. The announcement on the official Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account described Marina as the “Icon Diva Superstar and International Drag Race Superstar” set to bring the house down.

The Miss Universe Philippines candidates were also recently seen celebrating World Earth Day at a local mall. They also took part in a runway show with beauty brand Hello Glow, which named Miss Pampanga Cyrille Payumo, Miss Bacoor Victoria Vincent, Miss Iloilo Alexie Brooks, Miss Baguio Tarah Valencia, Miss Quezon Province Ahtisa Manalo, and Miss Lucban Rikki Dela Peña who won the fan vote, as the best performers on the runway.

The Miss Universe Philippines organization has also previously shared the candidates' official headshots, swimsuits shots, as well as the candidates in their evening gowns.

The delegates are all competing to be the one to succeed the current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee, who visited the candidates during their contract signing with the Miss Universe Philippines organization.
