Yumi's Cells: Yumi faces new reality without Brent

With its end fast approaching, GMA Heart of Asia's Yumi's Cells continues to tickle the hearts and minds with the push-and-pull love story of Brent and Yumi.

Now that Yumi is alone in her apartment once again, she realizes the gap that Brent left behind when he moved out of her home.

Every little thing she does, from cleaning up to eating, reminds her of Brent and how he affected her previously broken heart. Scrumptious foods are not tasty anymore, the house feels too quiet, and the organization is gone once again compared to when Brent was there with her.

Yumi's cells also felt the gap of Brent's absence and even went on a heartbreak party to let everything sink in.

However, it's not only Yumi who is feeling the gravity of the situation as Brent also faces downfalls that add up to his increased insecurity.

Brent starts losing money and even has to borrow money from friends.

His desperation also led him to go back to Yumi's place and retrieve a table that was once his. Their meeting, however, came like a blessing in disguise because this led Brent to ask Yumi on a date.

According to Brent, one of his friends is getting married and he needs company. Although worried that she might bump into Ally, Yumi mustered up her courage and attended anyway.

The event, however, did not end up as fun as expected because of Yumi's accidental encounter with Brent's friends who were talking about Brent and Ally's past relationship.

They even wondered if Brent still had feelings for Ally -- a question that broke Yumi's heart.

Now that Yumi also starts questioning Brent's feelings, will they still be able to go past the hard part of their relationship or will they put an end to it to prevent further damage?
