SB19 member Josh continues to show his versatility as an artist with his latest single, "Yoko Na."
The modern hip-hop, R&B track is a collaboration with breakthrough rapper Al James. Josh wrote the song alongside Al James, co-producer Brian Lotho, and John Remar Sabangan.
On April 26, Josh dropped a four-minute music video for "Yoko Na," showcasing his creativity and own style.
According to Josh, "Yoko Na" expresses the unspoken words amid a falling relationship. It reflects how a once-full-of-life love could suddenly fall apart, despite everyone's efforts to keep it out until the very end.
"For this particular jam, we traded cliched love stories with messy, real-life situations that ordinary people encounter on a daily basis: the frustrations and struggles from past relationships, and somehow confronted it with a more mature take. It's a song that's raw, honest, and straight from the heart,” Josh explained.
This marks Josh's fourth release following his upbeat track "Get Right" in December 2023.
