Quite a number of local celebrities and personalities have taken on the Asoka makeup trend on social media and put their own twists to it.

Content creator and newbie actress Zeinab Harake hopped on the said trend and showed her beautiful transformation into an Arabian girl.

“Lebanese Filipina #Asoka trend by me,” she captioned her TikTok post, which currently has more than nine million views, as of writing.

Zeinab also shared the same video on her Instagram account and it quickly gained a lot of praises from local celebrities and netizens.

Social media star and singer Donnalyn Bartolome wrote in the comments section, “Ang hinintay naming lahat gigil moko!!!”

The trending Asoka makeup challenge takes inspiration from a 2001 Hindi film of the same name.

It has creators styling themselves and getting their makeup done through fast transitions.

Aside from Zeinab, other celebrities who took on the Asoka makeup trend are Marian Rivera, Ivana Alawi, Alex Gonzaga, and Donnalyn Bartolome.
