Athlete-model Prince Carlos inked his contract with the premiere talent management agency in the Philippines Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
This basketball heartthrob is ready to shine even brighter! Prince Carlos was among the dozen of stars and fresh new talents who inked their contract in the star-studded Signed for Stardom event on May 16.
After graduating from college and playing for the College of Saint Benilde in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA); Prince Carlos is raring for the next chapter of his career as an actor.
During the grand event, he took the opportunity to thank his Sparkle family for allowing him to pursue his basketball career.
“First of all siyempre, I wanna thank Sparkle fam: Miss Joy [Marcelo, Sparkle Vice President], Miss Annette [Gozon-Valdes, Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support], Sir Law [Sparkle consultant Lawrence Tan], Miss Tracy [Garcia, senior talent manager]. Lahat ng bumubuo ng Sparkle, thank you for the trust and opportunity.” Prince said.
He continued, “Lalo na kay Miss Tracy for being so patient and understanding, especially during my basketball days, alam mo 'yan. So thank you so much.”
Being part of Sparkle also ignited his passion for acting. Prince made a promise that now that he's officially signed with Sparkle, he will give it his all.
“I'm really excited for my journey here, you know, from basketball to acting I'm just really so excited. Kahit newbie pa lang ako parang I'm really enjoying it and nakikita ko na 'yung passion ko and 'yung love ko sa pag-arte. And, I'm just really so excited to meet new people, meet new friends, meet new opportunities.
“I'm for sure gonna give my 100% here.”
We can expect a lot of exciting developments for Prince Carlos's showbiz career in the coming days. He is part of the horror film titled “The Vigil” and also featured in the latest summer initiative “Boys of Summer” campaign of Sparkle.
Prince also got to work with comedy stars Bossing Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza is the defunct sitcom Daddy's Gurl.
