"Three years in the making and it's worth the wait."

Fans were thrilled by the official announcement of the highly anticipated new film, Hello, Love, Again on Sunday, May 19.

The movie is the sequel to Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo's blockbuster movie in 2019 titled Hello, Love, Goodbye. It's also the first movie collaboration between GMA Pictures and Star Cinema.

GMA Network and ABS-CBN executives were present during the announcement, including GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and ABS-CBN CEO, Carlo Katigbak.

In an interview with 24 Oras, Atty. Annette expressed her enthusiasm about the new partnership, revealing that discussions with Star Cinema took about three years.

"Three years in the making and it's worth the wait. I'm very happy that this is the first collaboration between Star Cinema and GMA Pictures. Marami pang susunod kaya, that's double the excitement," Atty. Annette said.

She also added, "Isa ako doon sa mga super excited and I can't wait to know more about the movie itself."

Kriz Gazmen, Head of ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc., conveyed as well the excitement within their company for the project.

He emphasized the historical significance of their collaboration, "Annette and I have been talking about collaborating for more than two years now and finally timing is everything talaga. I know this is only the beginning of a beautiful and fruitful partnership and together I'm claiming it Annette, we're going to do and we're going to make history again."

Hello, Love, Again will show the reunion of Ethan (Alden Richards) and Joy (Kathryn Bernardo) in Canada five years after they separated because the latter chose to pursue her dreams.

Hello, Love, Again is slated to be shown in cinemas in November.
