Byeon Woo-seok said his first time in the Philippines is memorable because of his fans.
Korean heartthrob Byeon Woo-seok's first fan meeting is finally happening in Manila on June 22.
The Lovely Runner star has been surrounded by his Filipino fans ever since he arrived in the country on June 20.
In his press conference a day ahead of the fan meet, Byeon Woo-seok handed out yellow flowers to members of the press.
His Summer Letter in Manila fan meeting is part of his Asia tour.
During his press con, he said in Korean, "Hi, I'm Byeon Woo-seok. Thank you all for being here. I'm very happy to be here today, I hope we all have a good time together in this press con."
Since it's his first time in the Philippines, Byeon Woo-seok said he was overwhelmed with the warm welcome he received from the Filipino TongTongs, his fandom.
"It's so nice to finally be here in the Philippines. When I was in the airport, there were so many fans. I'm very excited and looking forward to the fan meeting."

He also admitted the sudden rise of his international popularity was largely because of his first lead role in Lovely Runner which he describes as surreal.
A new project is also underway for the actor, with the details yet to be revealed.
He also expressed how he wants to do another romantic-comedy after the success of Lovely Runner.
Byeon Woo-seok also showed off his Filipino speaking skills, much to the amusement of his fans. "Kumusta? Salamat. Uwi ka na, hindi ako galit."
