
BLACKPINK's Jennie Kim has apologized for her indoor smoking controversy.
On July 9, her agency Odd Atelier issued a public statement regarding the incident, saying Jennie acknowledges and deeply regrets her actions.
Odd Atelier posted on X, "Hello. This is OA Entertainment."
"We sincerely apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable with Jennie's actions in the content released on the 2nd.
"Jennie acknowledges and deeply regrets her mistake of vaping indoors and causing inconvenience to the staff. Jennie has personally apologized to all the staff on-site who may have been affected.
"We apologize to her fans who have been disappointed through this incident. We hope to prevent this from reoccurring in the future."

On July 2, Jennie was seen in a video online, smoking an e-cigarette device while in a waiting room before an Italian fashion show rehearsal.
This sparked many reactions from netizens. The video showing Jennie smoking has been partially deleted.
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment has announced that a special concert movie, filmed from the performances of BLACKPINK's 'BORN PINK' World Tour, will be released on July 31.
The film's release will coincide with BLACKPINK's upcoming eighth anniversary as a group.
The movie, titled BLACKPINK World Tour: Born Pink In Cinemas, will be available in theaters in over 110 countries.
Tickets for the movie have been on sale from June 27 worldwide, and July 17 in South Korea.
