Here are the Cinemalaya venues where you can watch 'Balota' from August 2 to 11.
The 2024 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival is set to run on August 2 to 11.
One of the 10 full-length films competing this year is suspense-thriller-comedy Balota, which is co-produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Entertainment Group with Cinemalaya.

Balota tells the story of a land-grabbing tycoon and a former male sexy actor who are locked in a tight race for the mayoral seat of a small town.
Emmy (Marian Rivera), a teacher who serves in the election, runs into the wilderness to protect a ballot box that contains the last copy of the election results when violence erupts in their town.
Joining Marian Rivera in Balota are Will Ashley, Royce Cabrera, Raheel Bhyria, Gardo Versoza, Mae Paner, Nico Antonio, Donna Cariaga, Joel Saracho, Sue Prado, Esnyr, and Sassa Gurl.
