‘Sa Puso ni Dok’ mirrors reality

GMA News and Public Affairs’ first ever medical drama series Sa Puso ni Dok aims to promote awareness on the state of public health in the Philippines.

 

Bela Padilla, who portrays Doc Gab, expressed on Balitanghali, “Dahil story siya ng public hospitals and ‘yung kakulangan nga natin sa knowledge, kakulangan sa mga doctor, sa nurse, hopefully you know, it speaks out to a lot of people out there.”

 

Committed to present reality, Dennis Trillo, who plays the character of Dr. Dennis, shared how they prepared for their scenes.

 

“Dun naman sa aming set, may naka-standby na mga eksperto para bantayan [ang] mga ginagawa namin, para maging kapani-paniwala ‘yung pagpo-portray namin as mga doctor,“ he said.
