Ruru Madrid hails from Zamboanga. Since his participation in Protégé: The Big Artista Break, he has appeared in Paroa: Ang Kuwento ni Mariposa, Dormitoryo, Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas, Wagas and Magpakailanman.
He was also cast in My Lady Boss, Above the Clouds, and Bamboo Flowers where he co-starred with Ashley for the first time. At present, Ruru is a mainstay in Sunday All Stars and portrays the character of Paul Andrada, brother of Tom Rodriguez’s character, in My Destiny.
