
Jay of ENHYPEN won't be performing in Japan for the K-pop group's 'FATE PLUS' concert slated from August 24 and August 26 in Aichi.
BELIFT LAB (https://beliftlab.com/artist/profile/ENHYPEN) , the agency handling the career of the idol group shared in a statement that Jay developed a fever and needed to go to the hospital for a check-up.
In the same statement, it was revealed that Jay still wanted to perform but the medical team advised him to get some rest.
Soompi uploaded a copy of the official statement of BELIFT LAB on its website.
"Hello,
"This is BELIFT LAB.
"We wish to inform you of ENHYPEN member Jay's health and his upcoming engagements.
"Jay experienced a sudden fever while carrying out one of his schedules, prompting a visit to the hospital. Following a thorough medical examination, he was diagnosed with the flu.
"Despite the artist's strong desire to participate in scheduled performances the medical team has advised Jay to rest extensively. Regrettably, this means that he cannot perform at the ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR “FATE PLUS” IN JAPAN - Aichi. We ask you for your kind and generous understanding.
"We will diligently support Jay's treatment and recovery, ensuring he can return to his fans in good health.
"Thank you."
Some of the hit songs of ENHYPEN include "Drunk-Dazed" and "Tamed-Dashed."
Aside from Jay, the other members of the group are Jungwon, Heeseung, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and NI-KI.
