SB19 and BINI prove once again that their talents are on an international level as Billboard Philippines announces that they are set to receive an award and perform at the launch of Billboard Korea today.

According to Billboard Philippines, the Kings of P-Pop and the Nation's Girl Group were handpicked by them to receive the Voices of Asia Award at the much-awaited launch of Billboard Korea titled 'Billboard K POWER 100.'

Billboard Philippines said that the awards for SB19 and BINI “will honor their groundbreaking contributions to Filipino music and their unwavering championing of P-pop on the global stage.”

Aside from giving the spotlight to the stars of P-pop, the 'Billboard K POWER 100,' set to happen at the Yeong Bin Gwan Hall of THE SHILLA Seoul, also aims to highlight and recognize the impact of Korean music, especially K-pop, on the “global music industry,” which ultimately includes P-pop.

Reports said that the 'Billboard K POWER 100' is also expected to “further solidify the global status of Korean music in line with the launch of Billboard Korea.”

They will also focus on the Korean and Asian music industries to select “influential figures” to recognize and celebrate the impact of their crafts, similar to their recognition of P-Pop icons, SB19 and BINI.

Billboard Korea's Voices of Asia awards for SB19 and BINI are not the group's first mark on the world-famous chart.

After years of hard work, SB19 was the first-ever Southeast Asian and Filipino act to be nominated for the Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards in 2021.

Meanwhile, BINI made history after receiving the first-ever Rising Star honorees of the inaugural Billboard Philippines Women in Music.
