Mariah Carey knows it's time to celebrate the holidays in the Philippines.
The holiday season officially started in the Philippines, with Filipinos already preparing their Christmas decorations and planning their festive activities. As part of the tradition, they have enthusiastically started playing iconic Christmas songs, including Jose Mari Chan's "Christmas in Our Hearts."
Another beloved music artist who adds to the holiday spirit is American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. Aware of the Philippines' festive fervor, Mariah reached out to her Filipino fans with a special message on social media.
On her Facebook page, the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" singer sent an early Christmas greeting to her Filipino fans, expressing her well-wishes and excitement. "Philippines, it's time (only for you!!) I hope you're all safe and well. Let's celebrate together," she wrote.
As of writing, her post garnered over 32,000 reactions and 2,700 shares with many Filipino fans flooding the comments to express their joy at her annual engagement with their holiday celebrations. Comments often praised her, with some noting, "Christmas is not complete without your songs!"

Meanwhile, Mariah is also preparing for her upcoming performances in China and Brazil this September.
She has been sharing glimpses of her preparations on social media, including a short video of her rehearsals. In one of her posts, she wrote, "Back at work. It's been a couple of rough weeks, but I appreciate everyone's love and support so much and I can't wait to see my fans in China & Brazil. Love you!"
Mariah will perform in China for her "Mariah Carey 2024 Concert: The Celebration of Mimi" on September 15-16, before heading to Brazil for the Rock in Rio 2024 festival on September 22.
In addition, Mariah is gearing up for a U.S. holiday concert tour.
Her "Christmas Time" tour will kick off on November 6 in Highland, California. Then continues to various states and cities, including Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, and many more. The tour will conclude in Brooklyn, New York on December 17.
