Ahtisa Manalo will compete for the Miss Cosmo International crown on October 5.
It's time for pageant fans to get excited again as Filipina beauty queen Ahtisa Manalo is off to Vietnam to represent the country at the Miss Cosmo International pageant.
In one of the more recent posts on The Miss Philippines official Instagram account, the organization announced that Ahtisa would be flying to Vietnam tomorrow, September 12, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1. Ahtisa's send-off will be at 2:00 a.m.
Ahtisa is one of the three Filipina beauty queens set to compete in international pageants. While Ahtisa Manalo competes in the Miss Cosmo International pageant in Ho Chi Minh this October 5, Blessa Figueroa will compete for the Miss Asia Pacific International on October 7. Meanwhile, Isabelle De Los Santos will compete for the Miss Aura International crown in Turkey on October 18.
The Miss Philippines organization has been campaigning hard for Ahtisa Manalo, sending out a call two days ago for votes for Ahtisa in the “first station” of the Miss Cosmo pageant's People's Choice Awards.
The post includes a link to where fans can cast their vote for Ahtisa. The organization also shared that the voting for the Cosmo People's Choice Awards is up until September 12.
Ahtisa had recently achieved a voting milestone, crossing the 1 million voting mark on the Miss Cosmo Social Ambassador voting challenge.
The Miss Philippines had earlier called on Filipino pageant fans to vote for Ahtisa, explaining that the winner of the round of voting will proceed to the next round where the Cosmo Social Ambassador winner will be picked.
Voting for the Social Ambassador award is still ongoing, up until September 20, 2024.
Ahtisa was named the country's Miss Cosmo Philippines representative last May during the Miss Universe Philippines pageant. Chelsea Manalo won the Miss Universe Philippines crown, while the Miss Supranational Philippines crown was awarded to Tarah Valencia. Alexie Mae Brooks was named Miss Eco International Philippines while Cyrille Payumo was named Miss Charm Philippines.
