
Hello, Love, Again, top billed by Kapuso star Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo, continues to break new ground as the film breaks into the top-selling movies of the week in the United States.
Deadline reports that the film is currently eight place in the top 10 films in the United States this week with a total box office take of $2.4 million or PhP140,958,000 based on current exchange rates. The article described it as an “awesome opening record for a Filipino movie”, and also described it as having the theater average of the weekend at $9,700 or PhP569,496 based on current exchange rates.
The publication also noted that Hello, Love, Again has already outgrossed Hello, Love, Goodbye's cumulative $2 million (PhP117,429,000 based on current exchange rates) after 77 runs.
This good news from the United States follows Hello, Love, Again's record-breaking opening day. It earned PhP85 million, making it the highest opening gross for a local movie.
The film is currently being shown in more than 500 cinemas in the country and 900 more in cinemas around the world. Alden made the announcement during the movie's premiere night at SM Megamall.
"Sa lahat ng mga Kapuso, and sa lahat ng mga excited nang mapanood ang love story nina Joy at Ethan, showing na po ang Hello, Love, Again in cinemas worldwide. Five hundred cinemas in local and 900 cinemas worldwide, so, panoorin n'yo po itong pelikula namin. Added Kathryn, "This is it! Maraming, maraming salamat sa lahat ng nagpakita ng suporta ever since we announced the movie, sa lahat ng mall show, sa lahat habang nagsu-shoot, and ngayon sa premiere night. Ready na kami mapanood ulit sina Joy at Ethan, sana kayo rin."
