South Korean Sparkle star Kim Ji Soo continues raising the bar on the international stage with his versatile acting skills.
Recently, he received a nomination for the Outstanding International Actor award at the prestigious Ima Wa Ima Asian International Film Festival and Entertainment Special Awards 2024.
Ji Soo earned the nomination for his captivating performance as Dr. Kim Young in GMA's afternoon medical drama Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap. His portrayal of a smart doctor and the romantic lead of Jillian Ward's character earned him global recognition, impressing fans with his ability to excel in drama, romance, and action. Prior to this role, Ji Soo also showcased his action-packed side in a special appearance on the GMA prime show Black Rider in June 2024.

Last November 19, Ji Soo excitedly shared the news of his nomination with his fans on Instagram. He posted a photo of his nomination certificate with the caption, “See you in Japan!”
The actor will be flying to Japan next month to attend the awards night of the Ima Wa Ima Asian International Film Festival and Entertainment Special Awards 2024, which will be held on December 1.
Ji Soo is one of the Kapuso stars nominated at this event, alongside fellow actresses Kiray Celis and Rhian Ramos.
