Three things we didn’t know about John and Isabel

Most people have watched the snippets of John Prats’grandiose proposal to girlfriend Isabel Oli. Though he chose to share that part of their lives with many people, there are a few details that still aren’t known to all.

 

In an interview with Ryzza Mae in The Ryzza Mae Show earlier today, the newly engaged couple disclosed a few facts about their relationship.

 

1. They didn’t spend anything on their first date.

 

“Birthday ng kaibigan [niya]. Dun niya ko unang pinapunta so kinount (count) na niya na date 'yun… Dun kami unang nagkakilala,” John recalled.

 

Before they were sweethearts, John only had a little crush on Isabel. He wanted to meet the actress-model and she obliged by allowing him to crash one of her friends’ party.

 

“So nag-date na rin kami dun. Free food, free drinks. Tipid-tipid,” he joked.

 

2. They pray together on the phone.

 

The success of their relationship may be attributed to how it’s centered on the Lord. John revealed that their last conversation of the day is praying over the phone.

 

“We always pray before we go to sleep, kahit sa phone. Nagdadasal kami bago kami matulog,” he shared.

 

They also encourage each other by affirming that the following day could only get better. “Lagi namin iniisip at sinasabi na tomorrow is a better day. Lagi lang kami positive bago matulog,” he added.

 

3. They want a big family.

 

When Ryzza Mae asked what their message for each other was, Isabel expressed how much she is looking forward to spend the rest of her life with her now fiancé.

 

“I can’t wait. Sobrang excited talaga ako. Kahit anong mangyari, nandito lang talaga ‘ko para sa ‘yo and let’s just pray always,” she said.

 

The groom-to-be, meanwhile, delivered his promise. “I’m gonna do my best to be the best husband [to you] and father sa mga magiging baby [natin],” he told Isabel.

 

He also shared with Ryzza his wish for his future family. “Gusto naming pagkakasal namin, marami ng baby para marami kaming kasama kagaya mo [Ryzza],” he declared.
