When it comes to promoting a movie, Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo and his wife, the Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado, prove that promoting it together is the way to go.
In one of the more recent posts on his Instagram account, Dennis posted a humorous Reel of him and his wife with a filter that swapped their mouths. On it, the couple revealed they would visit cinemas and give free Green Bones T-shirts to moviegoers who show them a movie ticket.
This promotional push is just the latest way Dennis has been marketing Green Bones, the official entry of GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs to the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival.
Here's a video of Jennylyn excitedly giving out free T-shirts to Green Bones moviegoers:
In several posts on the GMA Public Affairs Instagram account as well as on the GMA Pictures Instagram account, Dennis is shown meeting mallgoers in Taguig City's Market! Market! Aside from taking photos with the actor, some gamely interacted with the actor, such as a barker who announced Dennis' presence to the rest of the people in the mall's terminal.
Dennis has also sold movie tickets for Green Bones in Cebu.
Dennis and Jennylyn are also co-producers of the film through their Brightburn Entertainment company.
Last week, Jennylyn expressed her support for Dennis in an Instagram post, writing “I don't wanna sound biased dahil asawa mo ako, pero talagang napakaganda ng movie ninyo, at napakahusay ninyong lahat.”
She also shared that she became an even bigger fan of Dennis because of his performance in the movie.
Dennis also recently sat down with King of Talk Boy Abunda on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. He shared the difficulties he encountered playing his character in Green Bones, Domingo Zamora, and his Pulang Araw character, Col. Yuta Saitoh. He also shared his openness to the idea of becoming a director in the future.
