“That boy, what he’s really into at the moment is going to morning mass.”

Eat Bulaga host Julia Clarete received that surprising news when she attended one of the parent-teacher conferences in the school of her seven-year-old son Sebastian.

“It’s funny ‘cause when I had the PTC with the teachers, sinabi ng teachers that he goes to mass every morning. It’s not a requirement ha. It’s really nice. It’s a great revelation for me,” Julia said.

This is overwhelming for the host as it reminds her that her nurturing of her son is on the right track. No matter how busy she is with work or her son with school, she sees to it that they spend as much time together. That way, she knows that she gets to hear his stories and guide him in every day matters.

“We have breakfast together, I get him prepped for school and nag him to take a bath well. It’s a mommy job to nag,” she laughed.

After sending him off to school, she relaxes a bit before going to work. “Pag-alis niya for school, nap ako ng konti ulit and then I go to (Eat) Bulaga naman,” she added.

When she’s done with work and him with school, it’s date night for the two.

“After his tutor, he comes home na and then we have dinner together. We usually have dates. We have date nights. We eat out and try new places,” she shared.
