Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera was named Best Actress (Film) for the movie 'Balota' by the 2024 TAG Victorious Awards Chicago.
Marian Rivera clinched another award for her remarkable work as an actress.
The Kapuso Primetime Queen bagged the Best Actress award (Film) at the 2024 TAG Victorious Awards Chicago for her notable performance as Teacher Emmy in the film Balota.
In a Facebook post, the celebrity mom expressed her gratitude to the award-giving body and wrote, “Salamat po.”

In August 2024, Marian was one of the recipients of the Best Actress award at the Cinemalaya 2024. The 40-year-old star also won the same award at the Rising Filipino Awards 2024 for her film Balota.
Marian was also named Actress of the Year by local lifestyle magazine, Esquire Philippines.
The film Balota tells the story of a land-grabbing tycoon and a former male sexy actor who are locked in a tight race for the mayoral seat of a small town.
Emmy (Marian Rivera), a teacher who serves in the elections, runs into the wilderness to protect a ballot box, containing the last copy of the election results, when violence erupts in their town.
The said movie made its debut at the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival in August 2024 and was shown in cinemas nationwide in October of the same year.
