Richard Gutierrez on proposing to Sarah Lahbati: 'Di kami sumasabay sa uso'

Sarah Lahbati turns 21 years old today, October 9, but she celebrated her birthday two nights ago with a Moroccan-inspired party that was well-attended by stars and celebrities.
“Si Mon ang nakaisip ng theme. I like naman [the] Moroccan theme because I’m half Moroccan and bilang wala si Daddy, parang I kind of want to honor him in a way. Cute din‘di ba, Moroccan theme. Kakaiba rin, and since malapit na rin ang Halloween, why not,” the StarStruck alumna said on Unang Hirit.
The Kapuso Primetime King and Queen graced Sarah's Moroccan night.
“Sana eh mas maging successful pa siya sa career niya, especially kay Chard. Sana eh mas maging love nila ang isa’t-isa,” Marian Rivera said.
“So many good things are going on for her. Meron na siyang son and she has a blossoming career so we wish her well,” Dingdong Dantes added.
Also present were the birthday girl’s “girlfriends” Bela Padilla and Max Collins.
Bela shared, “Si Sarah, sobrang hilig sa chocolates pero 'pag kumain siya ng isa kailangan niya mag-gym ng one week. Sobra siyang paranoid sa mga kinakain niya, kaya sobra niyang sexy.”
“More happiness, more love, more success at sana makuha niya ang lahat ng gusto niya. Sana more blessings lang to come for their entire family,” Max said.
Of course, Sarah’s night wouldn’t be complete without the presence of her “Shiekh” Richard Gutierrez.
“Meron nga akong surprise sa kanya pero of course gusto namin quality time, na kaming tatlo ni Zion muna,” Richard said.
"Alam ko ‘yun ‘yung gusto niya and hinanap ko pa. Mahirap siya hanapin so trinabaho ko para makuha ko para sa kanya,” he continued, without revealing his birthday gift.
Did Richard give Sarah an engagement ring?
“'Di kami sumasabay sa uso,” he quipped.
“Nasa right time, we’re talking about it and we’ll see, you know. I mean, not because all these couples are getting married pero we will have our own time,” Richard clarified.
“As I said, we’re focusing on Zion. We’re taking [it] one step at a time and we may surprise you with what’s next sa buhay namin ni Chard,” Sarah said.
While the couple hasn’t disclosed on tying the knot anytime soon, Sarah revealed that she wants to have twins following their first-born Baby Zion.
