'Bakit ako nanalo?' - Kris Bernal on conquering 'StarStruck'

Six years after she became the Ultimate Female Survivor of StarStruck Season 4, Kris Bernal is still shocked about winning.
She said that she initially felt inferior among her fellow contestants. “Ang gaganda nila, mestiza sila, sexy sila. Bakit ako nanalo?” she said.
Until today, several years and many starring roles later, she still couldn’t believe that she emerged victorious.
“Hanggang ngayon talaga, ewan ko. Siguro ang lakas ko lang talaga kay Lord,” she added.
The Hiram na Alaala star also thinks that the judges might’ve seen a certain hunger in her. “Siguro nanalo din ako kasi nakita din nila kung gaano ako ka-uhaw na gusto ko talaga maging artista. 'Yung uhaw na uhaw ako,” she shared.
It’s no myth that dreams really come true and Kris showed that she wanted to be a star every step of the way.
“[Baka] sabi nila ‘Siguro ‘tong batang ‘to, gagawin lahat ng [ipagawa] natin sa kanya.’ Siguro nakita nila na puwede pa kong mag-improve dahil ready ako gawin ang lahat,” she declared.
