Heart and Chiz: 85 percent into their wedding preps

In an intimate dinner, Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero gathered together their wedding bridesmaids and groomsmen and introduced them to each other.

 

Among the bridesmaids are Kapuso actresses Solenn Heussaff, Lovi Poe, Alessandra de Rossi and some of Heart’s high school friends. The groomsmen include Senator Chiz’s friends and fellow lawyers.

 

The power couple has also started distributing “Save the Date” invites. Just like the invites, gold will be one of the color motifs in the Heart-Chiz wedding. 

 

Heart told Cata Tibayan of 24 Oras, “It’s no nice to have them all together in one table. Ngayon, nae-enjoy ko na talaga lahat ng ginagawa naming preparations for the wedding.”

 

Heart chose former car racer-turned-fashion designer, Mark Bumgarner to design her bridesmaids’ gowns. Each gown will be having a unique design.

 

Mark said, “Basically, it’s always ‘Keep it classy, keep it elegant. She likes the whole Hollywood na very Audrey Hepburn, mga ganung styles. Very clean lang.”

 

Heart shared that they are 85 percent into the wedding preparations. She will save the best for last, which is her wedding gown.

 

Before getting married, Heart and Senator Chiz are planning to spend Christmas together in Los Angeles. 

 

Will Senator Chiz be formally asking for Heart’s hand from her parents anytime soon?

 

Heart answered, “Ewan ko kung mangyayari pa iyon, kasi to be honest, it’s just my relationship with my parents, only I can understand the system that we have, so what’s important is okay na kami.”
