Rafael Rosell, excited sa kanyang bagong TV project

Ilang buwan na rin ang nakalipas mula nang nagtapos ang Afternoon Prime series na The Borrowed Wife, kaya masayang-masaya si Rafael Rosell na balik-trabaho na siya via the primetime drama Second Chances.
Makakasama niya rito sina Jennylyn Mercado, Raymart Santiago at ang kanyang The Borrowed Wife leading lady na si Camille Prats.
"I am excited again dahil nagpahinga muna ako for a few months, self-reflection, researching, and just doing what I want to do. Excited na naman ako ngayon, may bagong show na naman," he shares in an interview with GMANetwork.com.
He then describes his role in the show. "Ako ang best friend ng asawa ni Jennylyn Mercado. In love ako kay Lira (Jennylyn) at back then, hindi ko tinake ang chance na 'yun para ligawan siya or aminin sa kanya na mahal ko siya. At ngayong wala na 'yung husband, ito na 'yung second chance ko para i-pursue siya."
Kamusta naman katrabaho si Jen na first time niyang maging co-star?
"Wala pang masyadong intimate interaction. Pero nag-workshop na kami, nakausap ko na siya sa set, and looking forward to more intimate scenes and to bond more with the cast."
Pinaghandaan nang husto rin daw ni Rafael ang kanyang role dito bilang isang corporate lawyer.
"Hindi sila 'yung tipong nasa court, more on paperwork sila. Nag-interview ako ng mga kakilala ko na corporate lawyers, tiningnan ko ang mga lifestyle nila. Other than that, it's a gray character eh. May mga bagay na mare-reveal throughout the story. Siguro ang personal research ko about my character was more on how to appear something else when you're not like that."
Pag-amin pa ng aktor, isang malaking hamon na naman ang bagong role na ito.
"Lagi kang may bitbit na parang may tinatago ka. Every scene has this underlying context of why I feel that way. It's difficult to project dahil not only do you have to project your lives, at the same time you have that afterthought na sandali lang."
