Many netizens and BLOOMS got curious about Rain or Shine cager Caelan Tiongson after he addressed the rumors linking him to BINI member Aiah.
In an interview with News5, the Fil-American basketball star admitted that he is a fan of the P-pop group, but stressed that there's nothing going on between them.
Caelan explained, “Like I said before, I met Aiah through a mutual friend at church and all I'm going to say is that she's a really great person.”
He added, “But I'm not gonna speak on her personal life anymore than that.”
But it seems, one of his good friends learned about the rumors circulating and teased him about it.
Coach Charles Tiu of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde commented on Caelan's post about their next game against TNT in the semifinal series PBA 49th Season Commissioner's Cup.
A quick look at the comment section on Caelan's post shows Charles mentioning the P-pop group BINI, to which the PBA player replied, “not you too, coach!!”
Both Caelan and Coach Charles were part of the Strong Group Athletics, which won the 43rd William Jones Cup in Taipei in 2024.
Meanwhile, in the semifinals match up against the Tropang Giga last March 2, Caelan Tiongson contributed 18 points and helped Rain or Shine Elasto Painter to win the game, 103-98.
