Lindsay Custodio

Lindsay Custodio is reportedly shocked and disappointed at her husband's actions, who filed a cyber libel complaint against her

King of Talk Boy Abunda revealed in a segment of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda last Tuesday (March 4), that former actress Lindsay Custodio went to Cebu due to a cyber libel complaint filed against her by her non-showbiz husband.

The case is reportedly related to an article published in 2022, where Lindsay shared her alleged traumatic experience on the day of their wedding.

According to the article, the actress claimed that before heading to their wedding reception, her husband allegedly insisted that they stop by the bank to withdraw the gift checks, as well as money from her personal account and their joint account.

The cash gifts they received were allegedly used by her husband to pay for their wedding expenses.

Tito Boy stated that Lindsay went to Cebu because that is where her husband filed the complaint.

The King of Talk also shared that he spoke with Lindsay before the show started, and the actress said she was shocked and disappointed by her husband's actions.

“Nakakalungkot na 'yun ang ginawa niya. [I am] very disappointed, siyempre, pero okay lang po kasi what I have is the truth naman. I was shocked 'tsaka disappointed na 'yun ang ginawa niya though alam naman niya in his heart kung ano ang nangyari talaga,” Lindsay said.

Tito Boy also said that Lindsay's husband had previously filed a perjury complaint against her at the Muntinlupa Prosecutor's Office, but this was also dismissed.

Last year, Lindsay also filed a complaint against her husband for violating the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act, but the Muntinlupa Prosecutor's Office also dismissed it.

In 2018, Lindsay's late husband, former politician Julius Caesar Platon II passed away at 43 years old after suffering from a heart attack while driving along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), which also led to a car accident. Lindsay has two children with Julius--Sean and Charisse.
