Drew Arellano doesn’t work for money

By MARY LOUISE LIGUNAS

For TV host Drew Arellano, money is only a by-product of having a job. More than generating income, work should first and foremost, allow you to grow as a person.

“All the people that I work with [know] that just as long as I get my sleep, just as long as I’m still happy and I’m sharing my happiness, [as long as] I’m still excited to do work… I [will be] okay,” he said.

Drew also enjoys the thought of making an impact to  the lives of his viewers.

“[I hope that when] people watch me  and see that I’m excited, they get excited (as well),” he added.

He knows that his passion for work is based on how much he enjoys it and not because he is primarily doing it for money.

“I don’t want to reach a point in time wherein I’m doing this for money. For me, that’s not being me… There’s a big difference between yumaman and still have work and live comfortably,” he declared.

For the Biyahe ni Drew, Aha!, and Bonakid Pre-School Ready Set Laban host, he’s in a good place and couldn’t ask for more.

“I just wanna be where I am right now… I’m not a materialistic kind of guy. I’m not looking for a very expensive car or whatever. Really, I just want the comfort of the love of my life,” he concluded.
