Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez's Simeon Cayetano-designed outfit pays homage to Princess Gandingan.

Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez still has until the end of the month to claim the Miss World crown, but already she is making herself known to the international pageant's audience.

During the recently held Dances of the World opening ceremony at the Miss World pageant, Krishnah wowed the crowd in a costume by designer Simeon Cayetano and made in homage of the legendary Princess Gandingan. In the caption to one of the multiple posts that the Miss World Philippines organization made about her outfit, the organization wrote that Krishnah represented the Philippines with “grace and pride.”

The opening ceremony is just the start of Krishnah's Miss World participation, ever since she arrived in Telangana, India and met roommate Miss World Indonesia Monica Kezia Sembiring.

The Miss World Philippines organization had earlier sent off Krishnah at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, writing that she carries the “pride and dreams” of the nation to the international stage. The organization also called on Filipinos to show their love and support as she embarks on her pageant journey.

The Miss World Festival concludes on May 31.

Before departing for India, Krishnah visited the Indian Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Harsh Kumar Jain, and his esteemed spouse, Smt. Vandana Jain, before she flew to India. In the caption to the post, the Miss World Philippines organization wrote that the visit was characterized by “enriching conversations about the vibrant history and rich culture of India.”

Krishnah has also been busy with advocacy work, like painting a daycare center at Purok 15 in Irisan, Baguio City.

The daycare center painting was organized together with Krishnah's own non-government organization Color the World with Kindness' Beauty With A Purpose project.

Colors of Kindness, Krishnah's non-government organization, also participated in the Session Road in Bloom event that was first announced by the Miss World Philippines organization on their Instagram account back in February.
