Jaya says goodbye to Baby Max

By AEDRIANNE ACAR

Emosyonal ang Queen of Soul na si Jaya sa kanyang performance sa Sunday All Stars ngayong Linggo.

Kinanta ng veteran singer ang ‘If I Could’ with the RnB Princess Kyla.

Umamin ang Sunday All Stars diva na nagluluksa siya at ang kanyang pamilya matapos mamatay sa sinapupunan ang kanyang baby matapos sumailalim ang singer sa isang operasyon last Thursday, November 6.

Kuwento ni Jaya, “It’s actually my song for my kids. I have two children, Sabri (Sabriya) and Dylan, but during the process of doing this concert which is kinda strange kasi when we started the show, that’s when I had a really bad stomach ache. I had to do an operation. It’s a laparoscopic surgery to take out my gall bladder.”

“And I was pregnant at that time. And I didn’t know that the operation would actually kill the child. And I’m just being blunt and honest that we decided to do it because if I don’t, I might not be able to do all my commitments.”

Hindi na napigilan ni Jaya na maiyak sa dagok na dumating sa kanyang buhay.

Aniya, mahirap para sa sinoman na mamatayan, lalong-lalo na kung anak mo ang mawawala sa ’yo.

“I gave it up to God and I told him take my baby na maliit lang siya. Don’t take him na nasa labas na. So I actually accepted it.”

“But losing, you lose your pet you cry 'di ba. You lose a friend or a father or a mother, but losing a child and you know you have no control over it I just lifted him up to Jesus and said you take him, make him your angel. Maybe there is a bigger purpose for that happening in my life.”

Nagpasalamat din si Jaya sa lahat ng mga mahal nila sa buhay na tumawag at nagpaabot ng pakikiramay sa namatay nilang anak na tinawag nilang Baby Max.

“So I just wanna thank everyone who called, everyone that sent messages on Facebook, everyone that called me. Everyone that showed they cared. I didn’t know how many friends I had until this day. [On] that Thursday in November 6.”
