‘Here Lies Love’ starring Mark Bautista, honored at the 60th Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Another Kapuso showed that Filipinos are world-class performers. 'Here Lies Love' which stars Mark Bautista, was recognized at the 60th Evening Standard Theatre Awards last Sunday. The rock/disco musical is a play where Mark portrays the lead role as former President Ferdinand Marcos.
Like fellow Kapuso performer, Rachelle Anne Go, Mark left his showbiz career in the Philippines to do musicals abroad. Both Mark and Rachelle have been recognized by award giving bodies in their respective theater performances this year.
The 60th Evening Standard Theatre Awards is co-hosted by Evening Standard owner Evgeny Lebedev, American Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, and Burberry’s chief creative and CEO Christopher Bailey.
Aside from its prestigious line of hosts, the event was also attended by the big-names in the entertainment industry like Benedict Cumberbatch, Hellen Mirren and Tom Hiddleston.
