South Korean actress Kim Nam-joo returns to GMA Network with the drama series 'Misty.' In an interview, Kim Nam-joo shares, “As soon as I read the script, I felt something pull at me as if it were destiny.” The actress earned critical acclaim for her role and received the Baeksang Arts Awards for Best Actress in the said drama.
In the series, Kim Nam-joo plays the popular anchorwoman Arianne Go who works hard at her job, mostly to earn the “Media of the Year” award to make sure her spot doesn't get taken away by younger rising juniors. However, she becomes the prime suspect for a murder case.
Before becoming an actor Ji Jin-hee is a visual artist who works as a photographer at an advertising agency. His breakout role was Min Jeong-ho, a government official who falls in love with Jang Geum, in the Korean drama series 'Jewel in the Palace.'
Ji Jin-hee plays the role of Tommy Kang, a former prosecutor who now works as a public defender. Although his marriage with Arianne Go is on the rocks, he defends her in the case.
When asked why he chose the drama, Ji Jin-hee explained, “The characters' relationships entangling was interesting. And the more I read the script, I became more immersed in Tommy Kang's life.”
South Korean actor Go Joon plays an impactful role in the upcoming drama series. Go Joon appeared in many TV series and movies including 'The Fiery Priest' which earned him Best Supporting Actor at the SBS Drama Awards.
In the series, Go Joon will play pro-golfer Kevin Lee and Arianne Go's ex-lover. He returns to Korea to cross paths again with the news anchor for a TV interview. He wants to get her back and his intention resulted in his mysterious demise.
