For Kapuso actress Stephanie Sol, Pope Francis coming to the Philippines could bring forth an immense shower of grace.
“With the pope’s visit, I think mas ma-u-uplift yung spirit nating Filipinos… I think it’s a good start [to the year] na pupunta si Pope [and we could really] look forward to a really [great year],” the More Than Words star said.
According to Stephanie, the next few days are special to the life of the Filipinos as our faith is celebrated and intensified.
“It’s a privilege because after all that has happened to our country, to [be] blessed [with the presence of] the pope, and the upcoming Sinulog in Cebu, [it] is [going to be] a big celebration for all of us,” she added.
The actress is excited for Filipinos, especially those who are heading out to get a glimpse of the pope.
“You don’t have to talk to him. 'Yung spirit, ['yung presence] lang niya, mararamdaman mo na ['yung blessing] and it’s enough,” she shared.
She also hopes that the Papal Visit will strengthen the country, both its church and its government. “I hope that everyone in this country [will be blessed by God through the pope]. I [wish he would] pray hard for our government [because if the government will] be guided by God, I think that this country will progress faster,” she concluded.
