The Chiz-Heart love story

Chiz and Heart are now officially Mr. and Mrs. Escudero. But do you know how it all started?

The guests at the reception were treated to a beautiful retelling of their love story.
"I was blown away by his brilliance, yung pagka-witty niya, yung pagka-sincere niya. I was blown away so never ko siya nakalimutan," Heart described Chiz when they first met formally.
"Posible pala na umibig ng isang katulad niya sa isang gabi na 'yon," the senator replied.
The Kapuso prized talent said she had a boyfriend then when she first saw the senator in a beauty pageant in La Union wherein she judged and he gave a speech. After which, she tweeted, "Say Chiz! I'm a fan."
When she became single again, Senator Miriam Santiago gave her a list of eligible bachelors of the Philippines wherein she put Chiz on "Number 1." Senator Miriam spoke with Chiz and gave Heart's number then told the actress to wait for the call.
She and fellow Kapuso talent Lovi Poe were out when Chiz called. Lovi said not to answer the call so she won't appear excited.

Chiz's sister stated the first time they went out, Chiz was with a friend and she knew he liked her because he was feeling giddy passing on their text messages.
"Kapag sinasabi ko ang gwapo-gwapo niya, he loves that," Heart gushed.
"Pakiramdam ko sobrang gwapo ko at yun ang patunay na mahal niya ako. Dahil bakit niya sasabihin 'yon?" Chiz chuckled.
"Ipinagluluto niya talaga ako. Lahat ng gusto ko. Iyon 'yung language of love niya, service," Heart said, adding Chiz is not really showy of his affections that's why sometimes she is confused whether he's mad at her or "may problema lang siya sa bansa natin?"
"Nako, ang daming may gusto dito noh! Madami din ang galit ngayon!" the Kapuso artist exclaimed.
She then asked herself what she did why he fell in love with her. The senator wittily replied, "Walang kang ginawa. Kailangan mo lang tumayo at ngumiti."
Chiz's mom said, "When he met Heart, he got to have life again, smile na ulit siya and not like before na mainit palagi ang ulo niya."
She added describing the couple—Heart was "very much in love" and Chiz was "very happy."
The senator's father said he was happy for him for having a second chance.
On the other hand, Heart admitted that she thought Chiz would propose to her in Paris, and felt sad it didn't happen. But she knew that the senator was waiting for the right time.
When the engagement happened in August during a family gathering in Sorsogon, Chiz stated, "Tumutulo man ang mga luha niya nun, naniniwala akong masaya siya ng mga panahon na 'yun."
Chiz said wittily about their gap, "80's compared to 90's lang naman ang kaibahan ng tugtog."
She said he is the one guiding her life endeavors, while she taught him to enjoy the little things in life.
