Magic in the Air

Idol gang was back the very next weekend with a brand new show, Hokus Pokus. This brand new show is filled with laughter, thrilling adventures and a bit of magic! If you haven't been watching, here's a little recap to get you back on track. Bong Revilla is Abel, a secret agent handling odd cases that often verge on the paranormal. As his undercover persona, he pretends to be a jeepney driver. Si Rufa Mae Quinto naman ay si Ziporah isang good witch who runs away from her magical life to live as a mortal. The story started with Ziporah telling her mother Matilda, the queen of white witches, that she does not want to be a witch. Angered by her daughter’s refusal to accept their magical existence, Matilda lets Ziporah become mortal and strips her of any ability to protect herself from harm. In the mortal world, the witch becomes the fashion-conscious and medyo ditzy na Candy. She manages to accidentally find work sa bahay ni Abel as the nanny for his sometimes hard to handle kids Kulit and Mayette. But after a short stint in Abel's house, Candy has had it with the way Abel treats her “like a servant” so she decides to run away. The only problem is she doesn’t know where to go. Literally. She runs into the two goons (Angel and Miguelito) who murdered a businessman so she has to keep on running. She winds up by a stage where a magician named Popo is performing… but all his tricks seem to fail. Popo sucks as a magician! Candy steps in with her magical powers to help save Popo's career. Little does Candy know that her mother, Matilda, is also tailing her. Matilda still wants her daughter to return to Witchy World to claim her rightful place as Queen of the White Witches. But when she hears of a rebel uprising led by the witch Arcain, she tells Candy to stay with Abel until the danger has passed. Of course, ayaw bumalik ni Candy but in the end, she realizes that it is best for her nga. And this weekend, the mystery and intrigue continues when the troublesome Arcain continues to try to take over the world of witches. Matilda has her hands full! Samantala, sa mortal world naman, may dumating sa feng shui expert sa area ni Abel. Jackie falls for the act and invites the expert, Bonesa, to do feng shui sa bahay nila. And to remove bad luck, Bonesa starts taking things from the house... including the very special figurine that Leah gave to Abel. Hala! Mahuli kaya ni Abel itong scam artist? At natunton na rin sa wakes ng mga goons si Candy kaya’t pinasok nila ang bahay nila at tinutukan ng baril sina Candy! Eh di ba Candy can not use her powers to help herself? How will she get out of this mess? And why are the goons so bent on finding her?
